RR replace injured Ravi Singh with Emanjot Chahal

Ravi Singh played just one game this IPL and is out with a hamstring injury
Rajasthan Royals (RR) have signed left-arm spinner Emanjot Chahal as a replacement for Ravi Singh, who has been ruled out of the rest of IPL 2026. Ravi, a wicketkeeper-batter, is out with a hamstring injury. Chahal will join RR for INR 30 lakh.
Ravi, 24, was bought in the last auction for INR 95 lakh and played just one game in this IPL, when he batted at No. 6 for RR on his IPL debut against Delhi Capitals and scored 4 off 2.
Chahal, 21, is also a right-hand batter and represents Punjab in the domestic circuit. But he hasn't played an official T20 or a one-day game yet in senior cricket. In his three first-class games, Chahal has made 105 runs with a top score of 83 while also picking up 11 wickets. He made his first-class debut in October 2024 but played only one game in the previous Ranji Trophy season.
RR, currently placed fourth, play their last league game on Sunday afternoon, against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede. RR will book the last playoffs spot if they win.
