Sher-E-Punjab T20: Prabhsimran’s Blitz Hands Jalandhar Warriors 7-wicket Win Over Arshdeep's Ludhiana Lions

Prabhsimran's Firepower Sends Warriors Past Lions in SherEPunjab T20
What a night at I.S. Bindra Stadium, Mohali! The Jalandhar Warriors clipped it off against Arshdeep Singh's Ludhiana Lions by 7 wickets in the SherEPunjab T20 League 2026.
Ludhiana's Fightback Falls Short
Ludhiana posted a respectable 167/7 in their 20 overs, but it was never going to be enough. They got into deep trouble early, crashing to 40/4, before Madhav Pathania produced a blistering 72 off just 32 balls to drag them to a competitive total. His half-century came up in only 25 balls – proper aggression. Abhijeet Garg (33) and Arjun Rajput (15) had tried to steady the ship in between, but Pathania's cameo was the difference. For the Warriors, Aryan Yadav was the pick with the ball, taking 3 wickets for just 9 runs in his 4 overs.
Prabhsimran Blows Away the Chase
Chasing 168, the Warriors also stumbled to 66/3 in the 7th over, but that's when captain Prabhsimran Singh turned up the heat. He leaned on his usual destructive form, smashing an unbeaten 90 off 39 balls and keeping the required rate firmly under control. Aryan Yadav (32*) provided solid support at the other end, and the duo sailed the Warriors home with plenty of balls to spare.
My Take
From a sports medicine angle, Prabhsimran's ability to maintain that kind of explosive strike rate under chase pressure is remarkable – it speaks to excellent core strength, timing and workload management. That's exactly the kind of player workload data I'd want to monitor closely in my clinic. Pathania's quickfire 72 is a nice reminder too of why we emphasise proper warm-ups and bowling load tracking for those aggressive finishers.
A dominant team display from the Warriors, and another statement innings from their captain. 🏏
