India crush Pakistan by 7 wickets after spin attack bundles them out for 55

Namaste, cricket lovers! 🙏 Let me share something that had me doing happy little jalakirisas (peacock moves) in my seat—India turned Pakistan's Asia Cup clash into a graceful rout!

A Spin Storm at Dubai

In Saturday's Group A clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, India's spinners ran absolute riot. Asked to bat first, Pakistan never found their rhythm and were bowled out for a paltry 55 in just 18.1 overs—their lowest-ever T20I total. Absolute carnitude!

Shree Charani was pure poetry at 3/7, with Prema Rawat matching her at 3/9. Deepti Sharma added 2/5, Shafali Verma took a wicket too, and every single Pakistan wicket fell to a spinner. They lost six wickets for just 15 runs—a collapse so dramatic it felt like a tragic karnam in a dance drama! 🎭

The Chase: Short & Sweet

India chased the modest target like a well-rehearsed abhinaya—effortless and elegant. Shafali Verma gave them a flying start with 12 off 6 balls (including a six) and crossed 3,000 T20I runs in her brief stay. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur held things together, finishing unbeaten on 18 off 18 with a swaggering six. India reached 57/3 in just 8.4 overs—68 balls to spare!

The Bigger Picture

This dominant all-round performance means India finished atop Group A and headed into the semifinals undefeated. The head-to-head record over Pakistan now stands at 153 in T20Is, and 71 in the Women's Asia Cup.

A truly commanding performance—every player moved like a well-practiced adavu in perfect sync! 💃

Which player was the standout for you—Charani, Deepti, Shafali, or Captain Harmanpreet?
