Five wickets for 17 runs: Pakistan collapse again as England U19 spin twins script incredible heist

Spin Twins Burn Pakistan U19 to a 10-Run Heist at Arundel Castle
What a game, team! 🏏 Just like a perfectly layered dessert—the tension builds until that final spoonful.
Pakistan's U19s were cruising toward glory, needing just 28 with five wickets in hand. Then, like a sauce collapsing in seconds, they shed their last five wickets for a mere 17 runs. England closed out a 10-run win in the only Youth Test on Saturday.
The Spinners Steal the Show
England's twin spin duo did the damage. Skipper Ralphie Albert (left-arm spin) claimed 9 wickets across the match—6 in the second innings—while legspinner Jack Nelson triggered the fatal collapse, ripping through four of the final five batsmen. Honest work, no frills, pure match-winning craft.
Pakistan's Bounce-Back
Before the collapse, Pakistan recovered from 60 to fight back in their first Inn, thanks to a 124-run fourth-wicket stand between Abdul Qadir (80) and captain Farhan Yousaf (47). They looked comfortable at 18-4 until Albert's spin broke the back of it.
Earlier in the Match
England posted 333 first, powered by Bertie Michael's century (131). Manny Lumsden then took a 5-for to pin Pakistan to 305, and Leo Selvey-Clinton's 107 in the second innings set the 262 target that proved just enough.
A reminder that in cricket, as in the kitchen, the game's never over till the last wicket falls. Chef's kiss. 👨🍳
