Dominant South Africa Claim Tri-series Title After Outclassing Zimbabwe By 48 Runs

Proteas Dominate to Claim Triseries Crown 🏆
A clinical South Africa side put up a comprehensive all-round performance to outclass Zimbabwe by 48 runs in the T20I triseries final at the Namibia Cricket Ground today.
The Chase That Wasn't
Electing to bat first, the Proteas posted a formidable 205/5 in their 20 overs. Jordan Hermann led the charge with a blistering 53 off just 24 balls (8x4, 1x6), sharing an 84-run opening stand with Connor Esterhuizen (32). Brevis kept the momentum alive in the middle overs, while Rubin Hermann (27 off 16) sealed the pass-200 mark via a 47-run fifth-wicket stand.
Zimbabwe's Top Order Collapsed
Chasing 206, Zimbabwe's batting fell apart early. Opener Ben Curran went for a first-ball duck off Eathan Bosch, and Duan Jansen + Bosch had them 4 down inside the powerplay. Captain Sikandar Raza survived a no-ball reprieve on CBW, but Bjorn Fortuin (324) quickly ended his resistance.
Brad Evans (236) and Newman Nyamhuri (251) were Zimbabwe's standout bowlers, and Evans produced a late fightback with his maiden T20I fifty (56*) in a 52-run ninth-wicket stand—too little, too late as they folded for 157 in 18 overs.
Brief Scores: SA 205/5 (J Hermann 53) beat Zimbabwe 157 (Evans 56*) by 48 runs.
