Ishan Kishan's 270 lights up Duleep Trophy final; East Zone pile up 708

🏏 Duleep Trophy Final — Day 2 🏏

Ishan Kishan lit up the MA Chidambaram Stadium with a magnificent 270, sending East Zone to a colossal 708 vs South Zone. Three national selectors were ringside to witness the red-ball masterclass. 💫

Kishan batted a marathon 522 min off 334 balls. His first century came in just 122 balls, but the second hundred slowed down deliberately — not due to the pitch or bowling, but smart run-tiring to pile up the total. He then shifted gears after 200, racing out the next 50 off 31 balls, pegging back the spinners. 🚀

His support act was 21yo Kumar Kushagra, who scored his 6th FC ton — 101 off 132 balls before a casual pull to Milind at square leg. 🌟

Tragic end to a near-triple ton. Kishan fell just short of 300, missing out on joining an elite club — only Raman Lamba (1987) & Gagan Khoda (2001) have ever scored a DC in this tournament. His aggressive, Sehwag-esque approach had everyone talking. 🔥

South Zone's bowlers, incl. Siraj, were toothless on a flat track. Kishan did have a bruising moment when Milind hit him on the abdomen, but he battled on. 👊

Fifth-wicket stand of 230 with Kushagra, then 140 with Anukul Roy (40). Shami finished 4/180 for South Zone. 📊

East Zone are firmly in the driver's seat. Can anyone stop them now? Let's discuss! 💬
