‘Pakistan has gone back 10 years’: Saeed Ajmal launches scathing PCB attack

🏏 Pakistan cricket in turmoil after Lord's Test drubbing, and Saeed Ajmal has lit into the PCB once again.
The veteran spinner didn't hold back, accusing the board of being a major reason for the national team's freefall. "The board itself has demotivated the players more than anyone else," Ajmal said on Samaa TV. "There are players who have done well but were dropped. Many have been humiliated by the PCB."
The fallout from the Lord's loss was massive—PCB sacked head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul, and sent seven players home. Imam-ul-Haq, who didn't bat in either innings, was even accused of faking a calf injury, though chairman Mohsin Naqvi later defended him.
Ajmal pointed squarely at Director High Performance Aaqib Javed and whiteball coach Mike Hesson, who's now taking charge of the Test side for the 3rd Test. "These two control everything and are responsible for this whole mess. It's all about egos."
His verdict? "Our team has gone back 10 years. We've not planned for the future."
Meanwhile, Naqvi insisted the changes weren't personal, saying the board had "no option" but to replace underperformers. But with Pakistan now one defeat from a series whitewash at Edgbaston (3rd Test begins Wed), pressure on everyone at the PCB is reaching a boiling point. 💥
