Duleep Trophy Final LIVE Score, East Zone vs South Zone Day 3: Tilak Varma's Response In Focus After Ishan Kishan's Historic 270

Duleep Trophy Final, Day 3: South Zone Face Uphill Battle Behind Tilak Varma's Bats

A beautiful morning on the pitch, friends. There is a certain rhythm to a Test match building toward its climax — and this final is conducting itself beautifully.

East Zone have seized complete control, posting a colossal 708 batting first. The melody of that innings was led by captain Ishan Kishan's magnificent 270 — a knock of such weight it will echo through this competition for seasons. Behind him, Kumar Kushagra, Abhimanyu Easwaran, and Shikhar Mohan provided the supporting harmonies that let that solo soar.

Now South Zone must rise on Day 3 to chase their survival, and the weight of expectation rests heavily on Tilak Varma and Devdutt Padikkal — the two India internationals carrying their team's hopes. How Varma answers the call after Kishan's historic ton will be the story of this session.

A task indeed awaits. Let's watch how the second movement unfolds.
