Aryan Savsani, Tanmay Baloda Replace Suspended Rohit Yadav In India U19 Squads

U19 Squad Shakeup: Rohit Yadav Dropped for Age Records, Two Replacements Named

Bit of a drama in the India U19 setup ahead of the home series vs Australia U19. Rohit Yadav has been pulled from both squads after documentation checks flagged serious birth record irregularities — he's now banned from all forms of the game. He'd actually made the Sri Lanka tour in July, so this is a sudden turn of events.

Two replacements are in: Aryan Savsani (Saurashtra) steps into the ODI squad, while Tanmay Baloda (Haryana) takes his spot in the MultiDay squad.

Squad & Fixtures:

- 3 ODI matches: Sept 18, 21 & 23 (Rajkot)

- 4-day matches: Sept 27–30 & Oct 5–8 (all but the 2nd fourdayer in Rajkot; that one's in Ahmedabad)

Leadership: Lakshya Raichandani (Uttarakhand) captains the 50-over side, with Yashbardhan Chauhan (MP) as vice-captain. Chauhan lifts the armband for the redball leg.

The "nepo" talk: Aaryavir Sehwag (Virender's son) and Anvay Dravid (Rahul's son) both feature. Anvay, who scored 87 in the 2nd ODI vs Sri Lanka, is one of two WKs alongside Rajat Baghel.

MultiDay squad: Chauhan (C), Raichandani (VC), Virk, Ojha, M. Chauhan, Kush Patel, Manav Krishna (WK), Abhipray Biswas (WK), Ishan Om, Akram, Ragavendra, P. Singh, Ulva, Aryan Yadav, Baloda.
