Expensive Ashes tickets, third Test preview & Kevin Pietersen to mentor England’s white-ball teams

Ashes Prices Stagger & KP Steers England's White-Ball Future

Well, folks, some of these Ashes ticket prices are costing more than a decent dinner for the whole squad—and that's before you factor in the travel! The buzz on the Wisden Cricket Weekly podcast (with Cameron Ponsonby, Phil Walker, and our own Taha Hashim) was all about the eye-watering costs to catch the action, plus a proper look ahead to the third Test at Edgbaston between England and Pakistan.

But the headline news? Kevin Pietersen has been tapped to mentor England's white-ball setup. Think about that for a sec—KP bringing that game-changing mindset back into the fold. Nathan Johns weighed in on what this means for the growing talent pipeline in Europe, and honestly, the timing couldn't be better with the sport expanding its footprint there.

Edgbaston's third Test is the live-action highlight, but it's KP's appointment that's got everyone talking. Are we looking at a masterclass in white-ball mentorship, or just another splashy move? Your call.
