'I knew we were going to lose 3-0': Wasim Akram's brutal verdict on Pakistan cricket crisis

🏏 Wasim Akram calls out Pakistan's struggles in England Test series, predicts a 30-0 whitewash.

Akram, who led Pakistan to 3 straight Test series wins in England in '87 and '96, said the outcome was clear even before kickoff: "Our batting is struggling, our bowling is below average and our fielding is worse. It's not rocket science." Pakistan trail 0-2 heading into the final Test starting tdy.

Then there's the PCB's shocking overhaul—7 players sent home and head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed plus his staff sacked after the 2nd Test. Akram says he feels for the players but their attitude plays a part too. Using our own saying, "You can only clap with two hands," he explained the issues run deeper: weak domestic first-class structure, no consistency, no patience. "That dribbles down to the fans, too."

On a personal note, Akram opened up about his worry for friend and ex-captain Imran Khan, who hasn't spoken to him in 3 years. "As far as his health is concerned, there can be no compromise." Despite officials claiming his health is fine, Akram insists: "We need to safeguard his health. I miss him a lot." 💛
