Mohammad Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq Under Pakistan Cyber Crime Agency's Radar. Report Reveals Reason

Namaste, community. Let me share a story that carries a certain rhythm—though not the pleasant kind. A curious development is unfolding around Pakistan's cricket team on this England tour, and it has investigators knocking on doors.

Two familiar names—Mohammad Rizwan and Imamul Haq—have received call-up notices from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), summoned to their office this Friday. Think of it like a raga that has gone sour; the melody once trusted now under scrutiny.

The probe centers on alleged dressing-room leaks. Investigators will ask the players to unlock their mobile phones, examining devices the PCB has taken into custody. A third, unnamed Pakistani cricketer has also been called in. The PCB has yet to explain why they seized the phones, though whispers of match-fixing and corruption have begun drifting through the corridors.

Here is the context, the alap of this story: Imam and Rizwan were among seven players sent home after Pakistan's series loss to England, following the Lord's Test. Alongside them left Salman Ali Agha, Ali Usman, Aamer Jamal, Owais Zafar, and Khurram Shahzad—while coaches Sarfaraz Ahmed and Umar Gul were also shown the door.

In stepped five uncapped players alongside Saim Ayub and Abdullah Fazal: Arafat Minhas, Mohammad Imran Jnr, Saad Baig, Mohammad Imran Randhawa, and Razaullah. Fresh faces, new notes.

The controversy around Imam's absence at Lord's lingers—his calf strain, taking throwdowns with a taped leg, speculations on whether the injury was genuine. Pakistan were dismissed for 110 and 194 in his stead. Rizwan faced criticism for discipline and conduct.

Balance, as always, is elusive. Let us see what Friday reveals. 🏏
