All at Delhi, all at 7pm. A neat series for fans – same ground, same time, three chances to see the rivalry unfold.

Afghanistan Squad:

Ibrahim Zadran (c), Gulbadin Naib, Azmatullah Omarzai, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), Noor ul Rehman (wk), Noor Ahmad, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Naveenul Haq, Sediqullah Atal, Darwish Rasooli, Nangeyalia Kharoti, and Abdullah Ahmadzai.

India Squad:

Key Team News:

Ibrahim Zadran takes over the T20I captaincy for Afghanistan, with a couple of familiar faces returning. Naveenul Haq is back in the squad for the first time since December 2024, while veteran all-rounder Mohammad Nabi returns after missing the ODI series against Ireland due to CPL commitments. Nangeyalia Kharoti also comes back into the mix after missing out on T20 World Cup selection, with Noor ul Rehman stepping up as backup keeper.

India have received a significant boost with Jasprit Bumrah declared fully fit for the series. However, Harshit Rana has been ruled out, with Yash Thakur replacing him. Both Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar have been cleared to play, giving India a strong all-round contingent.

With Bumrah firing on all cylinders and a balanced Indian lineup, this series promises to be an exciting contest. Afghanistan, led by the newly minted captain Zadran and the ever-dangerous Rashid Khan, will look to cause an upset on home soil.

Stay tuned for all the action from Delhi!
