Big Change For Shreyas Iyer And Co: Asian Games Cricket Schedule Tweaked - Report

Shreyas Iyer's India face a reshuffled Asian Games cricket calendar, with the tournament schedule now tweaked after months of back-and-forth over fixtures and player availability.

The BCCI had been working hard to reconcile the domestic and international commitments of its players, ensuring the squad could peak at the right moment. As it stands, the squad will now have a cleaner build-up, with the team management hoping the revised timing gives the batsmen and bowlers adequate time to settle before the big matches.

For Iyer and Co, the adjustment means a fresh tactical window—more preparation time, sharper planning, and a chance to fine-tune the playing XI ahead of the tournament's crucial knockout stages.

The cricketing world watches closely, as the Asian Games campaign carries significant weight for India's T20 lineup heading into the years ahead.
