Glasgow Cosmic Beat Dublin Guardians by 6 Wickets in ETPL Clash

Cosmic Chase It Down: Glasgow Edge Dublin by 6 Wickets 🏏
A disciplined bowling effort and a balanced batting display gave Glasgow Cosmic a comfortable 6-wicket win over Dublin Guardians in ETPL Match 23.
Dublin set out first
Winning the toss, Dublin chose to bat but never got real momentum against a tight Glasgow attack. Vijay Shankar was the backbone with a fluent 67 off 43, but with wickets tumbling around him, the middle and lower order couldn't build anything lasting. Dublin finished all out for 159.
Cosmic's bowlers did the damage:
- Ali Khan – 4/22 (standout spell)
- Tymal Mills – 3/24
Together they kept the economy in check and left a very chaseable target.
Cosmic's reply
Finn Allen (30) and Moises Henriques (25) gave a decent start, and the chase stayed under control through the middle overs. George Munsey consolidated beautifully, going unbeaten on 50 and taking home Man of the Match.
Liam Livingstone provided the late kick with a quick 29 off 17, and Richie Berrington sealed it, racing three fours in his unbeaten 15 off 6.
Cosmic reached 162/4 with seven balls to spare.
The takeaway
No single hero innings here—just a well-rounded team performance. Dublin's Shankar played a great knock but couldn't turn it into a bigger total, and Cosmic's combination of disciplined bowling plus a measured chase earned them both points.
What did you make of Dublin's failure to build on Shankar's 67? Drop your thoughts below!
