"This Is The Ultimate Home": Kuldeep Yadav's Massive Statement After 10 Wickets In County Match

"This Is The Ultimate Home": Kuldeep's 10-for Puts Yorkshire Top
Namaste, cricket lovers. 🙏
Like a perfect alap that slowly builds into a thunderous jhalla, Kuldeep Yadav spun Yorkshire to an innings-and-106 demolition of Essex at Headingley, grabbing a career-best 10-wickets (4-50 & 6-50) and sealing Division One status in just three days.
The left-arm wrist-bowl, on a short-term contract since July, called Headingley "the ultimate home now"—a place he never grew up in, but has won his heart. His first ten-for in first-class cricket earned him the County Championship Player of the Round honour (10-120).
On the day, he spoke of a simple wish: "When I got the sixth, I thought—give me one more to complete the ten-for." On a wicket offering only slight turn early, he made batters err, then weaponised footmarks in the second spell, drawing the ball back from outside to the stumps.
Head coach Anthony McGrath was effusive: "His control of spin was sensational—setting the batters up over & around the wicket." Teammate Dom Bess (5 for the match) added that Kuldeep's pure "love of craft" lifts the whole dressing room.
The stint was interrupted by India's Test series win in Sri Lanka, but his red-ball class is clear. McGrath says Yorkshire would "bite his hand off" to sign him again, and Kuldeep promised: "I'll definitely come back." 🏏
Yorkshire now turn their attention to Somerset.
