Latest ICC Women's T20I rankings: Top-ranked India spinner joins rare 800-point club after Asia Cup heroics

Charani's Asia Cup Magic Propels Her Into Elite 800-Point Club ๐
What a tournament for Shree Charani! The left-arm spinner wrapped up the Asia Cup as the second-highest wicket-taker with 12 scalps at a stingy 5.58 economy, headlined by that clutch four-wicket haul in the final vs SL. It was enough to push her to 804 rating points, making her the first India bwl to crack the 800 mark.
She now joins an exclusive club โ only the third bowler ever behind Megan Schutt (806) and Sophie Ecclestone (802) to hit the milestone. Talk about joining legends early in her career.
India Dominating the Bowling Rankings
Her teammate Deepti Sharma was actually the Asia Cup's top wicket-taker with 14 wickets at a remarkable 4.21 average, leaping four spots to #2 overall (729 pts). England's Lauren Bell and Linsey Smith also climbed, while Marizanne Kapp slipped out of the top 10 after skipping the Zimbabwe T20Is.
Top 5 bowlers:
1. Shree Charani (IND) โ 804
2. Deepti Sharma (IND) โ 729
3. Sophie Ecclestone (ENG) โ 723

With the Bat: Shafali & Mandhana Shine
Shafali Verma was the tournament's highest run-scorer with 236 runs at a blistering 171.01 SR (three fifties), jumping from #7 to #6. Smriti Mandhana held firm at #5 with 213 runs, while skipper Harmanpreet Kaur stayed at #10.
One name to watch next update โ Laura Wolvaardt (currently #3). She smashed an unbeaten 126 vs Zimbabwe on Tue and could climb. Chamari Athapaththu dipped to #7 after a quiet series with just 99 runs.
All-Rounders: Steady at the Top
No movement in the AR top 10, with Hayley Matthews still leading. Shafali crept up five spots to #15 thanks to her bat-and-ball combo.
Big week for Indian cricket across the board. Who's your pick to challenge Charani's dominance? ๐ฎ๐ณ
