'Two of the best players to have ever played the game' - Tymal Mills on Rohit and Kohli

Mills Drops Truth Bomb: Kohli & Rohit Are Generational Greats

England pace ace Tymal Mills just settled the debate. Speaking in a recent Crex interview, the left-arm quick ranked Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma among the best ever to play the game—especially in white-ball cricket on Indian soil.

The Numbers Behind the Praise

Mills got two ringside seats to watch the Indian greats up close:

- RCB (2017): 5 matches, 5 wickets, avg 30.60, econ 8.57

- MI (2022): 5 matches, 6 wickets, avg 31.66, econ 11.17

Two very different stints, one clear takeaway: these two batsmen are masters of Indian conditions. "I learned a lot just being around them," Mills said.

Bumrah = Best in the World?

Here's where Mills gets bold. He didn't just praise the Indian bat duo—he handed Bumrah a top-tier nod. Having shared the MI dressing room in 2022, Mills reckons the Indian pacer is "probably the best in the world" across all formats. High skill, genuine pace on his day, and the versatility to dominate everywhere. That's a strong claim from a fellow fast bowler.

Back to IPL?

Mills is currently tearing it up with Glasgow Cosmics in the Euro T20 League, but he's signaling clear intentions. Fresh SA20 stint, good pace, solid fitness—he wants back into the IPL. "Amazing place to play cricket," he said. The interest is mutual; anyone with pace and swing wants him in that league.

Bottom Line: Mills isn't just flattering—he's validated what we all know. Kohli-Rohit are generational, Bumrah is elite, and the IPL remains the ultimate prize.
