John Simpson leaves Sussex to join Nottinghamshire on two-year deal

NSW swing a two-year bet on WK-bat John Simpson from Sussex — financials forced Sussex to offload him. Simpson's got the chops: 2864 red-ball runs at 53 w/ 11 tons, led Sussex to Div Two title. Notts are hedging their keeper risk, Verreynne out the door. Solid ROI play for 2027. 📈💰
