How the finish changed
Uganda posted 197/7 against Kenya in the 19th match and won by 47 runs. A day later, Kenya made 170/7 in the final and dismissed Uganda for 131, winning the title by 39 runs. The two results put an 86-run difference between the winning margins across the rematch; that figure describes the change in margins, not a net run rate.
Kenya's 216/5 against Botswana was the highest innings in this six-match set. Five of the six winners batted first. The exception was Rwanda, which chased Sierra Leone's 87/9 with 91/4 in 12.5 overs.

Method and scope
This article covers the six matches labelled completed on their individual Cricap match pages from 16 to 19 September 2026: matches 16–20 and the final. It is a closing-days snapshot, not a full tournament table. We recorded each innings total and result from the linked match page. The first-innings average is the arithmetic mean of six totals, rounded to the nearest whole run. A first-innings win means the listed first batting team won. Score displays such as 19.6 overs are reproduced only on the source pages; this analysis does not use overs or calculate net run rate.
The series listing has shown delayed or inconsistent status and team labels, so individual match pages are the source for the figures above. Corrections can be reviewed against those linked scorecards.
